Which service is right for me?


Condoms are free for men and women of all ages at our services. You can walk in and get free condoms from our service at The Fowler Centre, West Park Hospital and Bilston Health Centre during our service times at these locations.


If you are under 25 you can also sign up for a C-Card which enables you to get free condoms from a range of venues – go to the C–Card page for more information.      

You can get emergency contraception from lots of places, including The Fowler Centre, West Park Hospital, and The Phoenix Health Centre.

Because it is important to have emergency contraception (either EHC or the IUD) as soon as possible after sex, you should request an emergency appointment or explain that you need emergency contraception.

If you are over 16 years of age, have no symptoms and would like a sexual health screening we run fast track clinics which are quick, confidential and you won’t need to be examined. We run dedicated fast track clinics at The Fowler Centre, and West Park Hospital. To book please phone 01902 444444.

If you book a fast track appointment and develop symptoms beforehand it is important that you tell us prior to the day of your appointment so that we can ensure that you are seen by the correct healthcare professional.

We also provide sexual health screens at all of our outreach venues for young people.

If you have symptoms please phone 01902 444444. We offer testing at all of our locations (The Fowler Centre, West Park Hospital, Bilston Health Centre, The Phoenix Health Centre).

Alternatively you could attend our Walk In Clinic at The Fowler Centre, Monday – Friday. Arriving early and allowing plenty of time is advisable.

Embrace provides testing for HIV at any of its clinics. To book phone 01902 444444.

Alternatively Terrence Higgins Trust can offer testing for HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea and Syphilis.

A regular weekly testing clinic is held on a Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm with no appointment needed at 242-244 Bond Street, Wolverhampton, WV2 4AS

They can also offer testing by appointment between 9am and 5pm, Monday - Friday. Simply call 01902 711 818 to arrange an appointment.
